Justin Trudell is the President and CEO of FirstLight, a leading clean power producer, developer, and energy storage company serving North America with a portfolio of over 1.6 GW of operating renewable energy and energy storage technologies and a 4 GW development pipeline of clean energy and energy storage projects.

A proven energy industry executive, Justin has spent nearly 15 years in leading roles in the hydro, wind, solar, energy storage, and nuclear power sectors, including more than six years at FirstLight, first as Vice President of Operations, then as Chief Operating Officer, and now as President and CEO. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Hydropower Association and as an Independent Director at GEOKON, Inc.

Prior to joining FirstLight, Justin spent five years in the United States Navy, completing two combat deployments, and then nine years in various progressive roles with Brookfield Renewable Power, covering operations and project development.

Justin received his BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire with a focus on Finance and Global Business.
